Connect WorkStory to ChatGPT
- Open Plugins in ChatGPT and search for WorkStory.
- Select the plugin and connect your WorkStory account.
- Start a new chat and ask normally. Mention WorkStory, a person, team, or review cycle when you want a data-grounded answer.
Connect WorkStory to Codex
- Open the Plugins browser in the Codex app, or run
/pluginsin the CLI, and search for WorkStory. - Install it, then start a fresh task or CLI session so the tools are available.
Connect Codex directly by MCP
You can also add WorkStory as a Streamable HTTP MCP server and authenticate when prompted:

Troubleshooting
If WorkStory does not appear, make sure the plugin is allowed in your workspace, begin a new chat or task, and confirm it is enabled. If Codex cannot reach the server, check the URL, authenticate again, then restart or create a fresh session.
WorkStory follows your existing permissions, and feedback requests require approval. See Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or the WorkStory MCP overview.
