Connect WorkStory to Claude
Claude can use WorkStory to answer questions about feedback, performance reviews, and review cycles in plain language. It sees only the WorkStory information your account can access.
- In a Claude chat, click +, then choose Add connector and Add custom connector.
- Name it WorkStory MCP.
- For the Remote MCP Server URL, enter
https://app.workstory.team/mcp. - Under Authorization, choose Always required, then save. Claude will send you to WorkStory to sign in and finish connecting.
Using Claude Code?
Add WorkStory by URL, then complete the same WorkStory sign-in when prompted: https://app.workstory.team/mcp.
Ask better questions
Claude chooses when to use WorkStory. If it answers from general knowledge, mention WorkStory or name a person, team, or review cycle. For example: “What does WorkStory say about Sam’s last review?”
Manage access
WorkStory follows the same access rules as the WorkStory app. You can turn it off for an individual chat or remove the connector from Claude settings at any time. Feedback requests always need your approval.
