What is WorkStory MCP?
WorkStory MCP connects supported AI workspaces to the WorkStory context you already have permission to use. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, a standard that lets AI applications request information from external tools and data sources.
After you connect and authenticate, you can ask natural-language questions about feedback, people, performance reviews, and review cycles. Your AI workspace can turn those findings into a 1:1 plan, coaching guidance, a document, or a presentation.
What can it access?
WorkStory MCP is tied to the signed-in WorkStory account and company. It follows the same WorkStory permissions you already have, so asking an AI tool never grants broader access to employee data.
Depending on your access, it can help with feedback history, people details, review cycles, and performance-review information such as scores, comments, submissions, and status.
How do I get started?
Choose the AI workspace your team already uses, connect WorkStory, and sign in when prompted. Then mention WorkStory—or a specific person, team, or review cycle—when you want an answer grounded in WorkStory.

Does WorkStory MCP make changes automatically?
No. Everyday questions are read-only. If your AI workspace prepares a feedback request, you review and approve it before anything is sent.
